Brooke Fera grew up in Long Island, New York, where she began dance classes at the age of two, at Moves and Motions School of Dance. Brooke later trained under the direction of Michelle Mathesius at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, widely known as “The Fame School,” located in New York City. While at LaGuardia, Brooke trained in multiple styles including ballet, Graham, Horton, tap, and jazz. In May of 2017, Brooke graduated from NYU Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in dance. While at Tisch, Brooke had the opportunity to work under the direction of Canadian choreographer and dancer Crystal Pite, company members of Kidd Pivot, and trained as the understudy for Cindy Salgado. She has also had the opportunity to perform works by Loni Landon, Stefanie Batten Bland, and several student works at the NYU theatre. Prior to her time at Tisch, Brooke danced in notable venues throughout New York City, NY, Orlando, FL, Chicago, IL, and Los Angeles, CA. In addition to her work as a student and dancer, Brooke has devoted the past six years teaching dance and choreography to children at both the competitive and recreational levels. Moving forward, Brooke hopes to have ongoing performance opportunities while instilling her love and passion for dance in our youth.
