Angel Armas & Victor Smalley
Jody was a permanent member of the Moves & Motions staff but recently moved to Iowa. He is now a visiting staff member to Moves & Motions. Jody received his dance education from the State University of New York at Buffalo where he was the resident choreographer of the Zodiaque Dance Company. This choreographer and dancer performed with such notables as the Zodiaque Dance Company, as principle dancer and choreographer; the Greater Buffalo Opera Company, as principle dancer; as well as many televised events. Jody’s love for dance has taken him across the United States, Canada and the Bahamas judging for major competitions and teaching at many conventions and workshops. He has also had the privilege to choreograph for many competitive studios and loves sharing his knowledge and passion for dance with all of his students. His students have won top honors at the regional and national levels of competition. Many are dancing professionally in touring companies, on Broadway, cruise lines, television, and movies throughout the world. He has also been awarded numerous choreography awards for his unique style and creativity, as well as a finalist for the Jazz Dance World Congress. He has choreographed opening numbers for Dance Masters of America, where he is also a member, and opening numbers for many national finals. His skill and knowledge of all forms of dance make him a much sought after judge, teacher and choreographer.

Maureen Guitian holds a BFA in Dance Performance and minor in Musical Theater from the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Music and Dance. Her professional credits include Dances Patrelle, New York Dance Theater, Kelly/McCarthy Dance/Music, Eidolon Ballet, Omaha Theater Ballet, St. Louis Ballet, Les Grande Canadian Ballet, Fort Wayne Ballet, the St. Louis Muny, and Jersey Shore Entertainment, as well as guesting with the Omaha and Kansas City Symphonies. Maureen is also a teacher at Ballet Academy East. This is her fourth year with Moves and Motions.
Is a NYC-based choreographer, dancer, and teacher with a B.A. in Dance from Point Park University. She is thrilled to be choreographing for her 5th season with M&M. Sheena is currently the house choreographer for The Cutting Room’s “Rock ‘N Roll Debauchery” show series in Manhattan. She has performed with Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera, Lucille Lortel Theater, Pittsburgh Playhouse, and West Virginia Public Theater. Shows: Little Shop of Horrors, 42nd St.!, The Producers, West Side Story, Will Rogers Follies, The Velveteen Rabbit, On the Town, How to Succeed… and Contact. Sheena is the on-screen host of the YouTube show, Just Dance: Season One, on DanceOn Network, and has enjoyed performing in music videos, web series, flash mobs, concerts, showcases, and industrial events in NYC, including the Phish Madison Square Garden New Year’s Eve Concert. She has danced with Stiletto Entertainment on the M.S. Oosterdam (Holland America Line) and for Revel Casino in Atlantic City. As a dance maker, Sheena’s creative visions have garnered numerous entertainment awards and choreography nods. Sheena is the founder and artistic director of the traveling choreography shop: Dance In Transit. She teaches master classes and creates new works across the country in the styles of jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, tap, contemporary, and musical theatre. Sheena has choreographed 14 full-scale musicals for pre-professional theatre camps in PA and NYC, and is a certified Zumba instructor. She also enjoys touring as faculty/judge for Dancers Inc. and Beyond the Stars.
